West Chester, Ohio - November 4, 2019 - ClarkDietrich is proud to announce the launch of Strait-Flex® Gold, a new paper-faced composite corner bead featuring a memory-free hinge that adjusts to any angle to create perfect inside and outside 90° as well as off-angle corners. Strait-Flex Gold replaces the previous Mid-Flex 250 corner bead in the product line.

West Chester, Ohio - September 3, 2019 - ClarkDietrich continues to integrate the innovative E-Flange™ design into its line of exterior finishing products with the addition of E-Flange Casing Bead and E-Flange Bandmaker™ Casing Bead. Casing Bead is designed to terminate stucco and plaster against doors, windows and dissimilar materials. E-Flange features a unique raised flange design that provides 80 percent more stucco embedment than standard “flat flange” profiles.

Senior Product Manager Chris Little has nearly 20 years of experience in new product development and management and has also played an integral role in helping shape industry standards for lathing, plastering, installation of masonry and stone. He is currently a member of the ASTM C-11 Lathing and Plastering Subcommittee task group, which is continuously updating ballot items to refine the ASTM C-1063 lath installation standard.

After nearly 70 years operating out of a historic elementary school that dates back to 1910, the City of Boerne, Texas, will get its first-ever City Hall later this year. Designed by Randall Scott Architects, the three-story, 45,300-square-foot city hall will house up to 70 city employees in 10 departments and serve as a one-stop service center for Boerne residents. The $22 million facility represents a major milestone for the rapidly growing community located 45 miles northwest of San Antonio.

Set to open this summer, a new dental clinic in Cleveland, Ohio operated in partnership between Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic will give dental students a spacious, state-of-the-art environment in which to hone their craft under the supervision of faculty, while offering low-cost dental care to the roughly 19,000 patients who seek treatment at the school every year. Designed by architects from DLR Group and Westlake Reed Leskosky, the three-story, 126,000-square-foot building is part of the university’s Health Education Campus.
