Wall and ceiling contractors and distributors will get their first look at the newly integrated ClarkDietrich brand at this year’s INTEX Expo, April 25-26 in National Harbor, Maryland. The industry trade show will be the first time ClarkDietrich (Booth #701) will showcase the full spectrum of its framing systems, finishing products and professional services under a single, unified brand.
Having integrated its Vinyl Corp. and Strait-Flex finishing product lines into the ClarkDietrich corporate brand identity, the company is now positioned as a single solution, offering contractor customers and distribution partners innovative products and services that span both framing and finishing.
The company will focus on driving discussions around its full finishing offering, including the popular Strait-Flex line of drywall tapes, trim, tools and patches; its expanding line of clips/connectors; and the newly tested head-of-wall options within the BlazeFrame™ Firestopping System. The company’s TRAKLOC® Steel Framing System, E-Flange™ Control Joint, and BackerBead® will also feature prominently in the booth. ClarkDietrich is also Silver Level sponsor of this year’s INTEX Expo.

That expansion began in 2011 with the acquisition of Vinyl Corp., one of the largest full-line vinyl bead and trim manufacturers in the U.S., to complement the company’s existing line of bead and trim products.
It was followed in 2017 with the acquisition of Strait-Flex International, a leading provider of finishing products for interior drywall applications. Prior to this year, Strait-Flex has operated as a separate division, but will now be a product brand under the ClarkDietrich corporate umbrella.
