What is your Fire Rating?

  • 1 or 2 hour? Sometimes a 2hr system does not meet 1 hour. Actually, sometimes an 1 hour test is harder to meet than a 2 hour.

  • UL 2079 - Fifth Edition

Is total deflection the same as deflection gap?
Not at all. You'll need to know your projects requirements on:

  • Deflection Gap (Nominal / Installed Joint Width)
  • Extension requirements
  • Compression requirements
  • Max. Joint Width (Total Deflection Movement)
