Community Service Program
At ClarkDietrich, one of our organizational values focuses on leading a balanced life. Within that balance is work, family, and community. At ClarkDietrich, community support is personal. Our employees contribute to their communities where we work and live. This program enables employees to devote one paid workday every year to volunteering at the community organizations they choose.
Toy Chest Childrens Charity
Their mission is to provide toys, books, and clothing to underserved communities in Kentucky, while nurturing values of empathy and service in children. ClarkDietrich employees built rocking horses at our Annual Business Planning Meeting while in Lexington, KY.
Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center
Employees at the Bristol Plant spent three days at Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center clearing the trails. This trail is open to residents 7 days a week, 365 days a year and free to walk through and enjoy nature.
Dallas Zoo Day
Employees were tasked to paint a clear coat of UV protection over each dinosaur statue and got the opportunity to to feed the birds after.
Operation Lunchbox
The McDonough Community Action Committee collected donations for Operation Lunchbox, the charity of choice for January. The item collected for the January donation was Ramen.
Rochelle Food Pantry
Rochelle ran their 6th Annual Food Drive for the Rochelle Food Pantry. They contributed just shy of 2,000 lbs of food to donate.
Tina's Angels
Tina's Angels plans family centered activities to provide support, encouragement, laughter, and lasting memories for those in our local community affected by breast cancer. CD employees volunteered at the annual golf outing to help raise money.
Henry County Road Adoption Program
McDonough signed up with the Henry County Road Adoption Program and adopted the road the plant is on. The team collected five 55-gallon trash bags full of garbage and 7 tires and a bumper. Thank You to all the team members who helped make this happen!
