ClarkDietrich Offers Charitable Donations on Behalf of CEU Attendees

Submitted by Jenny Hull on

ClarkDietrich takes pride in supporting others in our local communities. It’s why we encourage employees to take time out of the office to volunteer for charities and organizations, and why we annually host or participate in philanthropic initiatives like toy drives and food drives. Recently, we’ve introduced a new way of giving back, which includes contributions from others in our industry.

Feed America

For years, ClarkDietrich has offered a variety of AIA Continuing Education courses to the architectural community, including in-person lunch-and-learn programs and virtual presentations. In lieu of a meal for our virtual presentations, we offer a donation ($10 per attendee) in the firm’s name to Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.

One in every 8 Americans faced hunger in the past year, including nearly 12 million children. Through a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs, Feeding America provides meals to more than 40 million people each year.

To date, we have been able to raise nearly $1,600 for Feeding America through this new system. Our goal is to reach $2,500 by the end of 2023—enough to help provide 25,000 meals for kids, families, and individuals facing hunger.

To help us get there, we’re extending the donation opportunity to our in-person presentations, too. For attendees who choose to forego or bring their own lunch, we will donate $10 in their firm’s name.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the continued support of the architectural community. You can be a part of this honorable cause by requesting a donation in lieu of lunch when scheduling your virtual or face-to-face presentation with us. By participating in these sessions, you not only gain valuable insights but also contribute to a charitable cause.

You can keep an eye on our progress—or make a direct donation—via the ClarkDietrich Team Feed Corporate fundraiser on Feeding America’s website.
