ClarkDietrich products and expertise have recently been recognized for their contributions to several award-winning projects.
In June, the ClarkDietrich Engineering Services team received a Design Excellence Municipal Award from the Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) for their work on the PGA Office Center.
Located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the 270,000-sq-ft office structure was designed to withstand Category 5 hurricanes and 500-year flood events. And that was just the beginning of this building’s unique challenges—from curved curtain walls to a first-floor 400-foot canopy with no two alike stud frames, this project is an impressive example of structural engineering.
For its work in developing the framing schemes for the structure, CDES received a first-place 2023 CFSEI Design Excellence Award in the municipal/services category. CDES specialty engineer Garrett Hippert submitted the entry to the awards competition and accepted the award on behalf of the company at the 2023 CFSEI Expo in New Orleans.
ClarkDietrich was also recently recognized for its product contributions to several building projects receiving awards from the Wall And Ceiling Alliance (WACA). WACA’s 13th Annual Construction Excellence Awards recognized the exceptional achievements of contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers who have had a positive impact on the construction industry in Northern California.
