Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA)

ClarkDietrich Building Systems is a founding and participating member in the Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA). Commitment to this industry organization includes our participation in the SFIA Code Compliance Program for both non-structural and structural stud products. Participation involves pre-qualification of our manufacturing facilities, review of quality control manuals, and unannounced quarterly inspections by the independent third party administrator – Architectural Testing, Inc. (ATI.)  Random inspections verify that as a manufacturer, we are producing product in accordance with our stated quality control program. The inspection process also involves taking random samples of both non-structural products and structural products. Testing of the samples at the independent ATI laboratory ensures that proper coatings, steel yield strengths, dimensions, etc., are being produced.
